Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Gibsons, British Columbia, The K9 Club was created in order to give the K9 community a safe place to play off leash as well as an opportunity to learn about and participate in the wonderful world of dog sports including Agility, Pet Dog Obedience, Tracking and Herding. Trainers use only positive reinforcement as well as food, toy and life rewards to motivate the dogs.
Founded by Lynn Nestman in the 1990's, the entire facility is fully fenced and home to a large selection of standardized agility equipment. A small club house on the property provides other essentials and shelter from the elements.

The K9 Club trainers Lynn Nestman, Andrea Richmond and Sam Riesco use only positive methods when working with the dogs and ensure that they have learned to correctly and confidently navigate an obstacle or complete an exercise before continuing. With in depth knowledge of both dogs/dog breeds and their behavior they are well equipped to help you with any minor behavior problems your dog may have and get the two of you working together as a team! No matter what your dog's size, shape, breed or temperament, they will learn to love playing the game (whichever one(s) you may choose!)
Once you become a member and have completed the first couple of classes, you will be able to come to the field on your own Monday to Friday and train on the equipment covered in class.
As this website is being continually updated and improved, please feel free to come backoftenand see what's happening! Or drop by the field, talk to us in person and see the dogs (and handlers) in action!
