Lynn Nestman has over a decade of sports
dog training under her belt, a fun-loving attitude and the ability to bring out
the best in her students (both two- and four-legged). Agility is a fun, fast paced sport for the
active dog-handler team, promoting high self esteem and confidence in the canine
athlete and giving both dog and handler the chance to learn new skills. The sport has elements of both speed
and accuracy, it is a race against the clock and the fastest time with the
least amount of faults is the winner. Both pure-bred and "All Canadian" breeds can compete and earn
titles. Scroll (all the way) down to read more about the sport of Agility and some information on the classes that are offered. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge them.

Beginner Class: In this class, you
and your dog will be introduced to all of the pieces of equipment, starting on
leash and working towards off leash as you become more confident. By the
end of the class you will be able to complete three piece sequences quickly and
confidently.
Intermediate Class: In this Class you and your dog will start to work on getting distance
both to and from the obstacles in sequences of 4-5 pieces. We will
also begin to focus more on the handler, teaching you how to
effectively communicate with your dog using both body cues and voice
commands as well as how to use training aids such as the target,
barrel, food and life rewards to your advantage and your dogs enjoyment.
Advanced Class:
In this class you will take the knowledge gained in the first two
classes and combine it all to be able to run through and complete
a variety of different technical training exercises and mini courses
anywhere from 6-10 pieces in length quickly and easily.
