Welcome to our Membership page
This page contains information on the classes available
as well as how to become a member of the Club and the benefits of membership
.

Note: Private, semi-private and group lessons in Agility,
Tracking and Focus On Fun are all available.


The K9 Club offers three different classes of agility; each class is split into four week components. Students will be under the instruction of Lynn Nestman. Classes will be held on location at The K9 Club field in Gibsons. All breeds and handlers are welcome to participate. Please visit the Agility page for more information.
 
 
On Q K9 Training, founded by Andrea Richmond in 2008 provides Puppy Socialization Classes, Starter Agility Classes and Pet Dog Obedience and Focus On Fun Classes in association/direct cooperation with Lynn Nestman and The K9 Club. Andrea teaches at The K9 Club Field in Gibsons, Hackett Park in Sechelt, Cooper's Green Hall in Halfmoon Bay and at various locations throughout Madeira Park. The K9 Club offers Tracking lessons to anyone whose dog is in possession of a "super sniffer;" each class is split into four week components. Students will be under the instruction of Lynn Nestman. Classes are held in a variety of local locations, allowing students to train on different surfaces and under varying conditions. All breeds and handlers and are welcome to participate. Membership:
Once you are a member of The K9 Club and have completed your first set
of Beginner classes/private lessons you may:

-purchase field passes in order to come and work at the field with your dog (weekdays)
-participate in all club activities (demos, parades, Olympics)
-membership and classes for the second dog is free
-receive a free Bordetella vaccination from Eagle Ridge Veterinary Hospital or The Landing Veterinary Hospital

Member Responsibilities Include:

-always ask permission before entering the field
-always leash your dog when entering/leaving the field
-always clean up after yourself and your dog
-ensure that all of the gates and doors are securely closed when entering/leaving the field
-help put away equipment after class/time at the field

-deposit field passes in the box after each class/time at the field
-no abusive behavior will be tolerated
-no smoking on the field
